📋 Description

• Lead Multichannel Strategy: Create and implement a thorough social media strategy across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and X, with a strong emphasis on high-growth tactics for our primary professional platforms - LinkedIn and YouTube.

• Curate the Editorial Social Media Narrative: Manage the master social media calendar to ensure a consistent, impactful narrative across all platforms; you will strategically organize content to minimize "noise" and ensure that product updates, thought leadership, and cultural stories merge into a cohesive, professional brand experience for our audience.

• Architect AI-Ready Distribution: Develop a strategic plan for LinkedIn and YouTube in collaboration with the creative team, optimizing video content, transcripts, articles, and metadata to enhance UpGuard’s visibility in AI-driven search results.

• Lead Employee Advocacy: Establish and oversee an employee advocacy program, empowering our internal experts to emerge as industry thought leaders and broaden our brand reach through genuine, non-corporate accounts.

• Optimize Product Campaigns: Collaborate with Product Marketing and Campaign Managers to ensure that complex product launches and feature updates translate into high-performing social media campaigns.

• Coordinate the Social Proof Engine: Act as the primary orchestrator for our social proof initiative, working alongside PMMs, Content, and Video teams to manage production and distribution.

• Optimize for Performance: Track key performance indicators and utilize data-driven insights to enhance content strategy and boost organic reach.

• Oversee Content Production: Collaborate closely with the Design and Video teams to create high-quality visual content, from short clips to long-form educational series.

• Monitor Industry Trends: Stay informed on social media algorithms, emerging platforms, and cybersecurity developments to keep UpGuard at the forefront of industry discussions.


⛳️ Requirements

• B2B Social Expertise: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience managing social media for a rapidly growing SaaS or technology organization.

• Editorial & Narrative Mastery: Ability to maintain a comprehensive editorial calendar that integrates various marketing streams into a cohesive, uncluttered narrative tailored for a sophisticated technical audience.

• Project Coordination Prowess: Demonstrated success in serving as the "connective tissue" between Campaign, Content, Video, and Product teams.

• Exceptional Communication Skills: Proficient in crafting engaging, clear, and authoritative short-form copy.

• Advocacy & Humanization Focus: Experience in building or scaling employee advocacy programs that leverage internal experts to enhance brand authority and trust.

• Data-Driven Mindset: Skilled in social analytics tools with the ability to convert metrics into actionable growth strategies.

• Creative Vision: Strong eye for visual storytelling and experience in briefing creative teams on social-first assets.

• AI & SEO Fluency: Advanced understanding of optimizing social metadata, transcripts, and long-form posts to impact AI search engines and LLM citations.

• Strategic Thinking: Capability to align social media efforts with broader business goals and marketing initiatives.

• Collaborative Spirit: Proven ability to work effectively across various departments in a dynamic, remote environment.
