Social Media Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and execute a social media strategy that aligns with product launches, marketing objectives, and audience requirements.

• Generate, edit, and disseminate content across various platforms (e.g., X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram).

• Oversee content calendars, posting timelines, and distribution strategies in collaboration with global marketing and product teams.

• Partner closely with product managers to relay updates, new features, and advantages of Tether products.

• Engage with partners, influencers, and community leaders to promote awareness and build trust.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) — such as engagement, growth, and reach — and present campaign outcomes to senior stakeholders.

• Tailor messaging for clarity, cultural relevance, and brand consistency.

• Utilize AI tools to brainstorm content ideas, visuals, and messaging frameworks to enhance campaigns (ideas only, not for final publication).

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in social media management, preferably within the fintech or tech industries.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate and engage online communities across various social media platforms.

• Proficient in content creation — including copywriting, basic graphics, and multimedia (images, GIFs, short videos).

• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage deadlines, priorities, and cross-team collaboration.

• Self-motivated and autonomous; capable of working remotely and collaborating across different time zones.

• Basic knowledge of Bitcoin, stablecoins, and blockchain products is preferred.

• Familiarity with or willingness to employ AI tools for generating innovative social media concepts.
