This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Collaborate with the VP of Digital Marketing to enhance the current organic social strategy, aiming to meet organic KPIs and expand our audience and engagement.
• Develop monthly publishing calendars that detail content for each channel, incorporating a blend of GGC campaigns and trending topics.
• Craft engaging organic social content, tailoring the copy for each platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn) and audience, while understanding the factors that drive viewer engagement.
• Manage each social media post from inception to completion, which includes requesting or creating visual assets, writing captions, and scheduling posts using Hubspot.
• Continuously test social media content, collaborating with the Director of Performance Marketing to monitor tests, analyze outcomes, and utilize insights for future posts and campaigns.
• Follow deadlines within the social editorial calendar, ensuring alignment with cross-channel content and initiatives, and updating assigned email tasks in the project management software (Asana).
• Act as the community management lead, responding to donor inquiries and concerns across social media platforms, advertising platforms, and SMS to foster engagement and cultivate a loyal following.
• Develop influencer partnerships and campaigns with support from the VP of Digital Marketing.
• Regularly evaluate the performance of each post, collaborating with the Director of Performance Marketing and Director of Growth Operations to generate and analyze reports, and measure progress towards KPIs.
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in organic social media management, covering platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Previous experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred.
• Excellent copywriting abilities, with a talent for translating marketing strategies into impactful, engaging posts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Asana or other project management tools is advantageous.
• Experience with Hubspot is a plus.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Creative mindset, eager to propose social media concepts and stay attuned to trends.
