This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Create a proactive social media content calendar in alignment with the overall content strategy, key themes, and audience insights.
• Craft compelling copy tailored for each platform and adapt existing content to meet the unique parameters and considerations of social media.
• Keep an eye on news and trends within and beyond the industry and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Lead the drafting and refining of posts and social media-related content from internal stakeholders on an as-needed basis.
• Oversee advertising campaigns on social media platforms, including monitoring, making in-platform adjustments, maintenance, and reporting.
• Handle both inbound and outbound communication with customers, prospects, and stakeholders via social media.
• Continuously monitor, collect, analyze, and report relevant data concerning social media accounts and initiatives.
• Remain updated on the latest shifts in the social media landscape, tools, and algorithm changes.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities related to influencer partnerships.
• Stay connected with the integrated Connect for Health Colorado communications campaigns and contribute ideas for effectively delivering important messages in a social media-friendly manner.
• Track feedback trends from service conversations and public engagement to share insights with departments across the organization.
• Develop and enhance social media processes.
• Provide input concerning social media strategies and policies.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to support coordinated messaging and engagement efforts.
• Execute other duties as required in alignment with departmental and organizational priorities.
• Must be a resident of Colorado.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, public relations, communications, or a similar field.
• Prior experience managing or working with social media platforms is preferred.
• Proficiency in crafting engaging, concise text for social media posts.
• Ability to edit and refine content to ensure usability and engagement across different social platforms.
• Strong aptitude for interpreting data and applying it to strategies and execution.
• Excellent project management skills and instincts.
• Capacity to translate complex information (policy, technical, regulatory) into clear, accurate, and customer-friendly language.
• Skilled at juggling multiple projects simultaneously, including prioritizing intake, tracking timelines, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working under pressure and adapting swiftly to changing priorities.
• Experience collaborating with a diverse range of internal stakeholders.
• Ability to edit video content for various social platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with health insurance, the Affordable Care Act, state-based health insurance marketplaces, or the healthcare industry is strongly preferred but not required.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish) are strongly preferred but not required.
• Experience using social media-focused tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) or other monitoring/reporting/scheduling platforms (e.g., Brandwatch) is preferred but not required.
