• Assist in enhancing the online visibility of the National Council and advocating for its mission.
• Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager to generate captivating content and boost engagement across various social media channels.
• Create diverse content for the National Council and Mental Health First Aid social media platforms, encompassing graphics, videos, and written materials.
• Curate and share noteworthy content from other accounts to engage with on the National Council or Mental Health First Aid social media pages.
• Interact with followers of the National Council and Mental Health First Aid, addressing comments and messages promptly.
• Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Investigate social media trends and keep abreast of best practices, delivering reports to team members who will leverage the data to enhance campaigns and marketing strategies.
• Current student (having completed at least two full-time years of undergraduate study) or a recent graduate (within the last six months) pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and their optimal usage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Prior experience in creating social media content, including graphics and videos.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational capabilities.
• A strong passion for healthcare and advocacy.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
• Remote work: We encourage applicants from all US time zones, with the understanding that some mandatory meetings and trainings may occur in US Eastern Time.

• Mental Health First Aid: We provide training and certification in Mental Health First Aid, a skills-oriented course that equips participants to respond to signs of mental illness and substance use.
