Social Media Consultant, Bilingual Eng/SPN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Publish authorized content across specified social media channels in accordance with campaign content timelines.

• Ensure that posts are correctly formatted, tagged, and scheduled.

• Collaborate with the social media team on messaging and timing for amplification.

• Create or modify captions, headlines, and post text for social media platforms.

• Tailor messaging to align with platform best practices, tone, and audience preferences.

• Assist in developing bilingual copy for English and Spanish content.

• Translate and adapt approved materials from English to Spanish and vice versa when necessary.

• Track comments, platform trends, and emerging digital discussions.

• Provide basic bilingual community engagement support as needed.

• Assess post performance and engagement trends.

• Highlight significant insights, audience behaviors, or platform issues to the Content Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in social media management, digital organizing, or content support.

• Professional fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong writing and editing abilities in each language.

• Proven experience in creating, translating, or adapting content for Latino and Spanish-speaking audiences.

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and online trends.

• Clear writing style and sound editorial judgment.

• Comfort in working with political or advocacy-related content.

• Strong cultural awareness and nuanced understanding of Latino and Spanish-speaking communities in the U.S.

• Exceptional attention to detail and capability to work independently.

• Familiarity with basic social media and content tools, including native platform tools, Google Drive, and scheduling applications.

• Ability to differentiate between direct translation and culturally relevant adaptation.
