This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Take ownership of, manage, and implement the organic social media strategy across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), ensuring a high volume of quality publishing using brand, creator, and UGC assets.
• Advocate for best-in-class social creativity throughout the calendar year.
• Tailor content to fit each platform natively (captions, formats, tone of voice, trends, audio) while identifying cultural moments for reactive opportunities to keep our brands ahead of the competition.
• Coordinate and deliver marketing assets (visuals, copy, formats) across multiple client accounts, customizing campaigns to fit each client's market specifics and audience behavior.
• Develop CRM strategies and email marketing campaigns in collaboration with the broader team across several client accounts.
• Monitor, track, and report on campaign performance and audience engagement across all client accounts (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Utilize these insights to continually refine content, creative approaches, and enhance media performance.
• Ensure every campaign is thoroughly briefed, scheduled, and delivered punctually, in alignment with each client's brand standards and objectives.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, fostering trust-based partnerships, understanding their needs, and promptly addressing issues to guarantee satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with clients to identify and optimize marketing opportunities across their channels, including newsletters, local promotions, and organic social media.
• Oversee and coordinate with internal teams (designers, videographers, photographers, broader marketing teams) to ensure timely and successful service delivery.
• Research industry trends, platform updates, and competitor activities to inform strategy and client recommendations.
• Monitor email and Slack communications to ensure prompt responses to Company team members and clients.
• 3+ years of experience in Social Media (either agency or in-house).
• Demonstrated experience managing high-volume email marketing campaigns, social media content calendars, and handling multiple accounts/brands in a fast-paced, growing environment.
• A strong portfolio highlighting unique, creative, and engaging content ideas that have met and surpassed clients' KPIs.
• A complete natural with all major social media platforms, confident in creating light-touch content (static and video) using tools like Canva or Photoshop.
• Versatile copywriting abilities with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Capacity to adapt instantly to various brand tones of voice with a touch of creativity.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Confident in presenting ideas, leading discussions, and building genuine, trust-based relationships with clients.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent project management skills and a creative eye for storytelling.
• Ability to balance creativity with commercial insight—understanding what excellence looks like and what drives tangible results.
