This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Driving Social Performance: Cultivating growth and engagement across @pophive’s social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook.

• Content Creation: Producing, publishing, and curating at least 15 pieces of content daily.

• Identifying Cultural Opportunities: Recognizing emerging trends, memes, and discussions in pop culture, and converting them into timely, platform-specific content.

• Breaking The News: Collaborating with the social team to disseminate stories, breaking news, and editorial content across social platforms throughout the day and during night/weekend hours.

• Community Management: Interacting directly with the PopHive audience through comments, replies, and story polls to strengthen community connection and gather insights.

• Post Creation: Utilizing design software like Photoshop to develop formatted posts and graphics.

• Stay On The Pulse: Keeping track of social media trends, industry changes, and competitor actions to uncover growth opportunities and remain informed on best practices.

• Leverage Data To Drive Social Insights: Monitoring and analyzing social media metrics, including impressions, engagement, and audience sentiment, to assess the effectiveness of content strategies and offer data-driven insights.

• Support Sales Campaigns: Partnering with the sales team to implement advertising campaigns promptly.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical experience in managing and enhancing social media accounts for brands or publishers.

• Profound understanding of primary social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, Threads) and their continuously evolving best practices.

• Intermediate graphic design skills, particularly with tools like Photoshop.

• Comprehensive knowledge of journalism guidelines, accuracy, and standards for fact-checking.

• A strong passion for Pop music and a deep familiarity with the intersection of current music, artists, and the pop culture scene.

• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating within a team as well as across departments (editorial, video, design).

• Outstanding writing and editing abilities, with a keen eye for grammar, tone, and voice.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Proficient in using analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, Measure Studio, or similar) to guide strategy and enhance performance.

• A positive, intuitive mindset, always taking a proactive approach.
