SOC2 Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop audit plans and system descriptions by inquiring about controls and processes.

• Conduct video conference meetings with clients, ensuring the camera is on, to perform on-screen walkthroughs during US hours (Central Time Zone) for evidence collection and work paper creation.

• Review and approve testing results provided by testers.

• Assist the audit manager with client tasks during their absence.

• Oversee a portfolio of more than 20 startup clients.

• Proactively escalate client issues and concerns internally to leadership for resolution.

• Produce 5 to 10 reports per month, assuming consistent closeout dates.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in IT audits, security assessments, or compliance (internships or projects are welcome).

• Fundamental understanding of information security principles and compliance frameworks (such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR preferred).

• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with global customers.

• A strong desire to learn and advance in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

• Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
