SOC Security Analyst – FedRAMP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and react to security alerts throughout Rubrik’s corporate network, endpoints, cloud, and SaaS platforms.

• Swiftly detect and accurately recognize indicators of intrusions and other harmful activities.

• Manage the complete incident response lifecycle, which includes triage, in-depth investigations, and remediation to ensure precise identification of root causes and organizational implications.

• Collaborate with vulnerability management, FedRAMP, and engineering teams to evaluate threats, prioritize vulnerabilities, and facilitate timely remediation efforts.

• Work together with cross-functional teams to drive the resolution of incidents.

• Enhance overall program maturity by providing feedback and suggestions to refine and improve detection capabilities and response procedures.

• Update and maintain precise incident case attributes and investigation details.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related technical fields, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center, including security investigations and incident response.

• Relevant Security Certifications (SANS, CompTia, ISC2, etc.) are preferred.

• Strong communication and writing skills, with experience in direct written communication and report composition.

• Familiarity with any SIEM, EDR solution, or incident analysis and response tools.

• Experience with cloud-native security solutions (Azure Defender, Google Security Command Center, AWS GuardDuty).

• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP).
