SOC 2 Staff Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Execute daily operations of IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA) and readiness assessments under the guidance of a management team member.

• Assess the design and efficacy of technology controls.

• Identify and report IT audit findings to management.

• Assist in pinpointing performance enhancement opportunities for designated clients.

• Effectively communicate with clients and team members.

• Facilitate client meetings and cultivate client relationships through proactive communication.

• Deliver weekly status updates to management.

• Actively inform management about any potential issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Strong motivation and initiative.

• Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or similar audit/consulting firm.

• Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation tools (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is a plus.

• Candidates should have an active certification or be working towards CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification.
