SOC 2 Staff Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Paraguay.

📋 Description

• Execute the daily functions of IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA) and readiness assessments under the guidance of a management team member.

• Assess the design and effectiveness of technology controls.

• Identify and convey IT audit findings to management.

• Assist in pinpointing performance improvement opportunities for designated clients.

• Engage in effective communication with clients and team members.

• Facilitate client meetings and nurture client relationships through proactive communication.

• Deliver weekly status updates to management.

• Proactively inform management of any potential issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• A strong level of motivation.

• Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in performing IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or comparable audit/consulting firm.

• Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation tools (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is a bonus.

• Candidates with an active certification or those working towards CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification are preferred.
