SOC 2 Staff Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Carry out the daily tasks associated with IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA) and readiness assessments under the guidance of a management team member.

• Assess the design and efficiency of technology controls.

• Identify and relay IT audit findings to management.

• Assist in recognizing performance enhancement opportunities for assigned clients.

• Effectively communicate with clients and team members.

• Facilitate client meetings and cultivate client relationships through proactive communication.

• Deliver weekly status updates to management.

• Proactively inform management about any potential issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• A strong sense of motivation.

• Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in conducting IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or other audit/consulting firm.

• Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation tools (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is a plus.

• Candidates with an active certification or currently pursuing CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification are encouraged to apply.
