SOC 2 Staff Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Execute the daily responsibilities associated with IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA) and readiness assessments under the guidance of a management team member.

• Assess the design and effectiveness of technology controls.

• Identify and communicate IT audit findings to management.

• Assist in recognizing performance enhancement opportunities for assigned clients.

• Effectively communicate with clients and team members.

• Lead client meetings and cultivate client relationships through proactive communication.

• Deliver weekly status updates to management.

• Proactively inform management about any potential issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience conducting IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or similar audit/consulting firm.

• Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation tools (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is an advantage.

• Candidates should possess an active certification or be in the process of obtaining CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
