SOC 2 Associate Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.

📋 Description

• The Manager position involves overseeing client engagements and internal tasks concerning SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 examinations, HIPAA evaluations, as well as external audits for various security and privacy frameworks/standards.

• Provides auditing services related to security, compliance, and attestation.

• Manages the daily operations of IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for cybersecurity).

• Assesses the design and effectiveness of technology controls.

• Identifies and presents IT audit findings to management.

• Aids in pinpointing performance enhancement opportunities for designated clients.

• Engages in effective communication with clients and team members.

• Participates in client meetings and nurtures client relationships through proactive communication.

• Oversees and manages the performance of IT audit staff involved in assigned engagements.

• Delivers weekly status updates to management.

• Proactively informs management regarding any potential concerns.

• Provides training for the staff within the IT audit team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience executing IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or other audit/consulting firm.

• Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation tools (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is advantageous.

• Candidates should possess an active certification or be in the process of obtaining CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification.

• Must be bilingual in English.
