This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee curriculum evaluations, annual training assessments, and courseware development sessions to support GEODSS operations and maintenance.
• Participate in and provide support for operational briefings, mission planning meetings, safety discussions, readiness evaluations, and intelligence briefings.
• Perform comprehensive research, analysis, and evaluations of emerging threats, operational patterns, and mission needs to enhance GEODSS training initiatives.
• Spearhead the creation and execution of enterprise-level training programs that support optical sensor operations, maintenance, system administration, and mission support tasks.
• Design and maintain courseware, lesson plans, qualification training packages, practical exercises, evaluations, and certification programs.
• Develop and present advanced academic content focused on optical sensor operations, Space Domain Awareness, cislunar operations, adversary movements, and new space mission sets.
• Plan and conduct enterprise-level readiness exercises and scenario-based training events incorporating Operations, Maintenance, System Administration, Supply, Security, and Facility functions.
• Direct the evaluation, review, and modification of existing procedures, checklists, technical guidelines, and training materials to enhance mission effectiveness and standardization.
• Oversee enterprise knowledge management initiatives, including the creation of job aids, training videos, lessons learned, case studies, and standardized operating procedures.
• Lead initiatives for maintenance training and IMDS compliance, including the development of training materials, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance documentation procedures.
• Update senior leadership on training effectiveness, readiness trends, operational risks, and program enhancements.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of operational, maintenance, training, or management experience related to Space Domain Awareness, optical surveillance, space operations, or similar mission areas.
• Experience in operating, maintaining, supporting, or training personnel on electro-optical sensor systems, telescope-based surveillance systems, Space Domain Awareness systems, or similar Department of Defense mission systems.
• Proven track record in developing and delivering military or government training programs, including courseware, lesson plans, examinations, assessments, qualification training, and certification programs.
• Experience in devising tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), operational exercises, and scenario-based training.
• Familiarity with maintenance documentation systems, including IMDS, ETIMS, or equivalent maintenance management systems.
• Proven experience in supporting geographically dispersed units and enterprise-wide training programs.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Equivalent military or industry experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education.
• Must possess an active Secret and TS/SCI security clearance eligibility.
• Position is remote, with occasional travel to GEODSS operational sites and government locations as necessary.
