This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Lead Revenue Expansion and Strategic Account Development by creating and overseeing a sales pipeline, meeting booking objectives, and guiding account planning and strategy formulation for designated state, local, and educational clients.
β’ Foster Trustworthy Client Relationships and Internal Collaboration by establishing and nurturing trusted connections with key decision-makers in government and education, while working alongside a Solution Architect and other internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
β’ Guarantee Mission Alignment and Strategic Capture Implementation by evaluating customer requirements, positioning Iron Mountain Government Solutions (IMGS) offerings, crafting and executing capture strategies, and ensuring adherence to information management, data governance, and data management best practices.
β’ Over 5 years of direct sales experience in state and local government.
β’ In-depth understanding of the procurement, budgeting, and acquisition processes for State, Local government, and Education (SLED) accounts, along with knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Workflow, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions.
β’ Demonstrated expertise in consultative sales, encompassing prospecting, negotiating, and translating client requirements into solution specifications to secure large, complex government and education contracts.
β’ Proven track record of interpreting, comprehending, and responding to intricate contracts, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
β’ A university/college degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
β’ Must reside on the West Coast.
