This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and manage daily project operations alongside field personnel.
• Develop and arrange work schedules with operations to utilize available resources effectively to satisfy client demands.
• Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with established plans, standards, and specifications.
• Monitor and report quantities for invoicing purposes.
• Actively communicate and collaborate daily, as necessary, with general contractor/owner staff, suppliers, and engineering regarding the scope of work, required equipment for job completion, and troubleshooting issues.
• Address and resolve on-site field problems to maintain workflow and achieve project deliverables.
• Ensure comprehensive data is collected and documented throughout the duration of the contract to support the contractor's progress and final payment certifications.
• Acquire and keep current and accurate utility locates.
• Create job sheets for field personnel.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by your senior manager.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in the heavy civil construction sector.
• Prior supervisory experience is essential.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication, time management, scheduling, and negotiation skills are required.
• Capable of multitasking and maintaining productivity during extended hours in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Must possess a clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
• Candidates must be willing to work according to project needs (including weekends) and travel out of town when necessary.
