This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.
• Gather, analyze, and document both functional and non-functional requirements for geospatial or area-based modules.
• Convert client stakeholder needs, policy stipulations, and business regulations into comprehensive, testable software specifications.
• Develop intricate business-process descriptions and diagrams utilizing BPMN.
• Formulate user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Define geospatial functionalities, encompassing reference parcels, parcel-intersection and eligibility logic, map-editing guidelines, polygon split/resize operations, topology accuracy, and GeoJSON export.
• Collaborate with the project manager, domain specialists, client stakeholders, and the development team.
• Assist in user acceptance testing.
• Contribute to user manuals and project documentation.
• Facilitate communication and clarification during the pilot rollout.
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst.
• Extensive experience in requirements engineering, specification documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Proven track record in documenting functional and non-functional requirements for software systems.
• Capability to prepare formal business-process documentation as a client-approved output.
• Familiarity with BPMN, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Proficient in translating policies, regulations, and business rules into clear and testable software requirements.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Ukrainian, along with professional English for international collaboration.
• Having GIS/geospatial domain expertise will be a significant advantage.
• Experience or comprehension of land-parcel identification, remote sensing, cadastre, satellite imagery, crop data, or land-cover maps.
• Familiarity with geospatial data, cadastral data sources, external state registries, or public-sector digital platforms.
