Site Selection Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main contact for all site selection activities within assigned clinical studies.

• Spearhead the complete site selection strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams, sponsors, and country feasibility managers.

• Create and execute protocol-specific site selection criteria, site profiles, questionnaires, ranking methodologies, and recruitment strategies.

• Work alongside Study Start-Up and Project Management teams to achieve site activation milestones, including First Patient In (FPI), on schedule and within budget.

• Supervise site outreach initiatives, encompassing leadership, training, performance management, and mentorship for team members involved in site selection.

• Perform site due diligence, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluations.

• Oversee study budgets, timelines, resource usage, and key performance indicators.

• Monitor, report, and offer strategic recommendations to sponsors and project teams.

• Ensure accurate and complete documentation of feasibility, recruitment, and site selection in relevant systems.

• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, support business development initiatives, and provide strategic insights on site and country selection planning.

• Travel approximately 15% both domestically and/or internationally.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in site selection and/or feasibility at a clinical research site, CRO, or sponsor organization.

• Ability to interpret clinical trial protocols and convert study requirements into site selection criteria, feasibility assessments, and site-specific operational necessities.

• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, FDA/EMA regulations, and clinical research standards.

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities for evaluating site performance, feasibility data, and recruitment forecasts.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to present recommendations and cultivate relationships with sponsors, investigators, and internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
