Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Enhance the fault tolerance and maintainability of code within proprietary data pipelines and trading systems.

• Identify and resolve bugs in the codebase.

• Oversee complex deployment projects.

• Automate workflows that are currently performed manually.

• Monitor and prioritize outstanding issues related to production.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to incidents, ensuring the ongoing operation of critical production systems.

• Proficient in coding and debugging using Python.

• Experience working with Linux operating systems.

• Knowledge of Relational Databases and SQL.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a continuous drive to enhance functionality.

• Possess a growth mindset with a passion for learning.

• Excellent technical communication skills.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.

• An undergraduate degree or equivalent training in a quantitative discipline, or relevant industry experience.
