Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Assist in securing, automating, and expanding cloud infrastructure.

• Set up and oversee networks, firewalls, policies, NAT, and VPNs.

• Design secure AWS architectures utilizing VPCs, routing, Transit Gateway, WAF, and API Gateways.

• Implement and manage AWS Security Groups and access policies.

• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

• Create dashboards and alert systems in Grafana, OpenSearch, and CloudWatch.

• Diagnose security and network incidents; spearhead root-cause analysis and remediation efforts.

• Oversee AWS services such as OpenSearch, ElastiCache, Aurora, EC2, ECS, and Fargate.

• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as dictated by business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network security, cloud engineering, or SRE.

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls and AWS network security.

• Practical knowledge of Terraform and the capability to construct scalable modules.

• Proficient in observability tools, including Grafana and OpenSearch.

• Expertise with AWS container runtime environments: ECS, Fargate, and Lambda.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across cloud and network infrastructures.

• Preferred certifications: Palo Alto PCNSE or PCNSA; AWS Security Solutions Architect; Advanced Networking.
