Site Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of engineers and technicians responsible for the installation, pre-commissioning, and upkeep of HVDC Valve Solutions.

• Organize valve site operations and provide updates on progress and outcomes.

• Lead and supervise the team during field assembly, repair, and maintenance tasks.

• Conduct quality monitoring and ensure traceability of all works performed.

• Promote safety and enhance the EHS culture among all stakeholders.

• Engage in the Valve Risk Register to highlight significant risks to the project team.

• Manage Non-Conformities related to valve site operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• The applicant must possess mechanical engineering knowledge at the graduate level or have equivalent experience.

• Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance and team leadership, preferably within live HV environments.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

• Solid understanding of safety protocols and environmental considerations.

• Must be willing and able to travel globally on a frequent basis (including offshore/sea platforms) for extended durations, often with little prior notice.
