This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Edit and create short-form video content tailored for social media platforms.

• Develop visual concepts that align with the established aesthetics of fern and Simplicissimus.

• Design and animate captivating 3D and 2D animations to enhance the editing process.

• Incorporate sound design to complete each video.

• Collaborate with scriptwriters and art directors to ensure that visuals effectively convey the storytelling.

• Modify existing long-form visual assets into short-form formats when applicable.

• Refine work based on feedback and performance insights.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends in short-form visuals and best practices across platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in editing short-form video content for social media platforms.

• A compelling portfolio showcasing engaging, narrative-driven visual content.

• Exceptional video editing capabilities with expertise in Premiere Pro.

• Strong skills in 2D motion design, proficient in After Effects and Illustrator.

• Extensive experience in 3D animation, with proficiency in Blender.

• Comprehensive understanding of sound design principles for short-form video.

• Capacity to work efficiently and produce high-quality results within tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.

• Familiarity with fern, Simplicissimus, or similar documentary-focused channels.

• Fluent English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
