Short-Form Video Editor, 3D/2D Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Edit and create short-form video content tailored for social media platforms.

• Develop visual concepts that resonate with the established aesthetic of fern and Simplicissimus.

• Design and animate captivating 3D and 2D animations to enhance the video edits.

• Incorporate sound design to complete each video piece.

• Collaborate with scriptwriters and art directors to ensure visual elements effectively convey storytelling.

• Modify existing long-form visual materials into short-form formats where applicable.

• Revise work based on feedback and insights from performance analytics.

• Keep abreast of current trends in short-form visuals and best practices for various platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in editing short-form video content for social media platforms.

• A compelling portfolio showcasing engaging, narrative-driven visual content.

• Exceptional video editing capabilities with expertise in Premiere Pro.

• Proficient in 2D motion design, with skills in After Effects and Illustrator.

• Extensive experience in 3D animation, particularly with Blender.

• Strong grasp of sound design principles related to short-form video.

• Ability to work efficiently and produce high-quality results under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills and a talent for collaborating with remote teams.

• Familiarity with fern, Simplicissimus, or other similar documentary-focused channels.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
