Shopify Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop an e-commerce platform along with an in-house content management system (CMS).

• Create and maintain technical documentation for all projects.

• Evaluate newly launched product features to set benchmarks and identify potential areas for enhancement.

• Participate in status and kick-off meetings, creative review sessions, and brainstorming discussions.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends in web design and seek creative inspiration from parallel industries.

• Engage in both new client presentations and the ongoing management of desktop, web, and mobile web applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, website development (e.g., IT, computer engineering), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of development experience, demonstrating flexibility, speed, and a readiness to tackle tasks.

• Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Designers, and Software Engineers to produce high-quality user-facing products.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and adept at resolving front-end issues on a daily basis.

• Proficient in Shopify, HTML5, JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, CSS, and Liquid.

• Familiarity with using Git.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with CMS platforms like WordPress.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams or within a large-scale software development life cycle, including agile methodologies.

• Strong UI/UX design skills.

• Solid core design capabilities, with the ability to establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and effective use of color.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Shopify.

• Must possess strong work ethics, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle new challenges, tight deadlines, and unexpected changes.

• Proven ability to research and articulate technical issues in a client-friendly manner.
