SharePoint Administrator – SharePoint, Project Server, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee, support, and maintain enterprise SharePoint Server and Project Server (PWA) environments hosted on AWS.

• Collaborate effectively with infrastructure, security, development, and PMO teams.

• Ensure system availability, performance, security, and compliance are upheld.

• Manage SharePoint farms, site collections, web applications, content databases, service applications, and user permissions.

• Configure, support, and troubleshoot SharePoint workflows as needed.

• Plan and implement migrations from on-premises to AWS for SharePoint and Project Server environments.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to performance, availability, search functionality, and service application configurations.

• Maintain and update operational documentation, procedures, and platform configurations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in administering enterprise platforms or collaboration systems.

• Solid hands-on expertise in administering SharePoint Server (2016/2019/Subscription Edition).

• Familiarity with Project Server / Project Web App (PWA) configuration, administration, and support.

• Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS/SQL Server, VPC, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch.

• Strong understanding of networking principles, including DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, routing, and load balancing.

• Demonstrated experience in migrating SharePoint environments from on-premises to AWS.

• Proficient in PowerShell for automation and administration of SharePoint.

• Working knowledge of SQL Server administration to support SharePoint databases.

• Experience in troubleshooting workflows and integration points within SharePoint environments.
