This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.
• Oversee the creation and quality assurance of the NOUR toolkit for sexual harassment prevention tailored for public schools in Morocco.
• Design culturally relevant prevention strategies, awareness materials, reporting mechanisms, referral methods, and training content.
• Collaborate in the development of the NOUR Toolkit, which encompasses training materials, prevention guides, film scripts and storyboards, card games, posters, and survey instruments.
• Co-facilitate interactive brainstorming workshops with educational authorities, school leaders, staff, teachers, students, and various stakeholders.
• Assist the Education Consultant with mentoring and training for staff, including virtual facilitation as required, along with training sessions in Marrakech.
• Create baseline and endline surveys for students and staff, and provide technical insights for data analysis.
• Engage in monthly project meetings and offer guidance on implementation issues related to the toolkit and referral systems.
• Contribute to the Lessons Learned Summit and co-author the final recommendations report for toolkit expansion.
• Maintain standards of confidentiality, safeguarding, child protection, safety, dignity, informed participation, and psychosocial well-being.
• Must be registered as an individual auto-entrepreneur, independent consultant, consulting firm, or association, with a proven individual expert leading the work.
• Master’s degree in Education, Gender Studies, Psychology, Social Sciences, Child Protection, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sexual harassment prevention, GBV prevention, school safeguarding initiatives, or related youth well-being programs.
• Proven experience working collaboratively with other consultants.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing or implementing sexual harassment solutions and awareness/prevention training programs for educational settings.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed and age-appropriate methods for preventing sexual harassment among adolescents.
• Established ability to engage in sensitive discussions with both adolescents and adults in a respectful, age-appropriate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive manner.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation abilities.
• Proficient in critical thinking and effective problem-solving.
• Capable of working with adolescents and a variety of stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Commitment to principles of gender equality, child rights, and safeguarding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant software applications.
• Knowledge of French and/or Arabic/Darija is highly desirable.
• Experience in training teachers and staff on sexual harassment prevention and developing referral systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Moroccan cultural, educational, and institutional context is preferred.
• Experience working in the MENA region is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with international donors and partners is preferred.
