Session Lead – Integrated Risk and Compliance Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Overseeing weekly Checkpoint sessions with students in accordance with Udacity's guidelines.

• Facilitating communication between students and the Udacity Connect team.

• Providing Udacity with weekly reports on overall student attendance and observations from each session.

• Clarifying Nanodegree program concepts to your group of students when necessary.

• Addressing questions posed by students during the Checkpoint sessions.

• Updating the Mentor's dashboard with student attendance and progress information.

• Engaging with students on the community platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Solid grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals, including core principles, critical security controls, best practices, and the ability to assess risks, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.

• Strong familiarity with GRC frameworks and the capability to identify issues, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Comprehensive understanding of security engineering concepts, including risk assessment, cryptography, security reviews, audits, and the planning/designing of security architectures.

• Experience in designing secure network architectures, implementing Zero Trust Models, and creating secure environments on platforms like Azure.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience related to the above skills.

• Graduation from any Cybersecurity courses/Nanodegree programs is a plus.

• Experience in teaching technical concepts and public speaking.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to lead a group of students.

• A student-oriented mindset with a focus on understanding their challenges.

• An innovative approach and proactive attitude towards assisting students in need.

• A positive demeanor, earning students' trust and fostering emotional connections within the group.

• An established tech network and experience in technical discussions and conversations.

• Flexibility in their current job to undertake this role as a part-time external contractor.
