Service Technician I – Utility Scale Solar

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in field operations related to retrofitting, repowering, commissioning, and service repairs.

• Ensure that all tools and equipment necessary for field activities are functioning correctly.

• Oversee the expense reporting system using Concur.

• Prepare and submit daily Field Service Reports detailing activities.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel extensively and frequently, up to 90% of the time.

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

• Experience with basic hand tools is required.

• Basic mathematical skills are necessary.

• Entry-level understanding of mechanical systems is expected.

• Entry-level understanding of electrical systems is required.

• Strong leadership abilities are essential.

• Excellent communication skills are a must.

• Proficient problem-solving skills are necessary.

• Strong customer-facing presence is required.

• Physical dexterity is needed to perform manual tasks in extreme temperatures.

• Experience in utility-scale solar projects is preferred.

• Knowledge of utility-scale construction is preferred.

• Entry-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

• Entry-level experience with Salesforce is preferred.

• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools is preferred.

• OSHA 10 certification or higher is preferred.

• NFPA 70E certification is preferred.
