Service Technician I – Utility Scale Solar

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Director of Field Operations, the Commissioning & Warranty Manager, and fellow Service Technicians to effectively and promptly meet customer requirements.

• Assist in field operations encompassing retrofits, repowering, commissioning, and service repairs.

• Ensure that all tools and equipment utilized in field activities are functioning optimally.

• Oversee the expense reporting system via Concur.

• Submit daily Field Service Reports accurately.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel extensively, potentially up to 90% throughout the calendar year.

• Possession of a valid driver's license is essential.

• Experience in utilizing basic hand tools is required.

• Fundamental math skills are necessary.

• Entry-level understanding of mechanical systems is expected.

• Entry-level knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous.

• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities are essential.

• Physical dexterity to perform manual tasks in extreme temperature conditions.

• Preferred: experience in utility-scale solar projects.

• Preferred: knowledge of utility-scale construction.

• Preferred: basic experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Preferred: introductory knowledge of Salesforce.

• Preferred: familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools.

• OSHA 10 certification or higher is preferred.

• NFPA 70E certification is preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

• Expected to stand for 75% of work hours and engage in computer tasks for 25% of work hours.
