Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Execute daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual refrigeration repairs, predictive maintenance, and preventative maintenance tasks for industrial refrigeration systems (Ammonia/CO2/Freon) safely and promptly while ensuring exceptional customer service.

• Carry out routine and emergency repair and maintenance services on industrial refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, pumps, motors, valves, and performing electrical troubleshooting on systems, automation/controls, and alarm systems.

• Conduct repairs and seal replacements on various compressor manufacturers.

• Implement preventative maintenance practices such as compressor alignment and vibration analysis utilizing the latest technologies.

• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding and adherence to all workplace safety policies, procedures, and governing regulations.

• Operate independently or with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing Ammonia/CO2/Freon industrial refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems.

• Capable of reading and interpreting ammonia refrigeration manuals, documents, and drawings (P&ID’s).

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.

• Strong technical and mechanical abilities.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Effective time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

• Must pass a drug screening for employment.

• Must successfully complete a physical examination and Respirator FIT Testing.

• Physically capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
