This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Implement SEO strategies across designated accounts with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals: keyword research, on-page/local/technical optimizations, content alignment, link building, site architecture, schema markup, crawl management, and indexation.
• Execute optimizations directly within client CMS platforms (primarily WordPress) with precision, minimizing the need for developer intervention for every modification.
• Aid in the development of SEO/AEO strategies for assigned accounts.
• Utilize AI tools to streamline the repetitive aspects of your workflow.
• Track and analyze organic performance metrics (keyword rankings, AI visibility, conversion rates, conversions, etc.) across assigned accounts.
• Contribute to client-facing reports and updates that are clear, data-driven, and focused on meaningful business performance rather than mere visibility.
• Collaborate with the SEO/AEO Strategist and the wider team to enhance campaign execution and improve our service delivery.
• Assist in aligning the SEO keyword strategy with paid search campaigns (in collaboration with our paid search strategists) when relevant.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical SEO experience managing real campaigns across at least two areas: local, technical, national, and e-commerce.
• Proficient in working directly with WordPress and other content management systems as needed.
• Expertise in using SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, GA4, or other analytical tools is essential.
• A solid understanding of technical SEO principles: site structure, crawlability, page speed, and their impact on rankings in practice.
• Experience integrating AI tools into your professional workflow to minimize manual tasks or enhance output quality.
• Familiarity with AI overviews and trends in search engine evolution.
• Strong time management skills while handling multiple active accounts.
• Excellent, professional communication skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
