This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Technical SEO for our web platforms: You will assess the technical performance of our websites and execute specific optimization strategies.
• Optimization & maintenance of our online shop: You will enhance the technical structure, metadata, and content of our Shopify store.
• Performance optimization & technical implementation: You will work on improving load times, minimizing unnecessary scripts and applications, optimizing images, and ensuring consistent performance.
• AIO & GEO – future-oriented optimization: You will consider the effects of AI-driven search results and Generative Engine Optimization on our website and shop strategy.
• Analytics, tracking & reporting: You will establish and manage GA4, Tag Manager, and dashboards.
• Conversion optimization & UX analysis: You will evaluate user flows, conduct A/B tests, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Technical content management: You will oversee content within the CMS, refine structure, internal linking, and the technical quality of our online content.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical SEO, web performance, or e-commerce optimization, preferably with knowledge of shop systems like Shopify.
• Familiarity with fundamental technical SEO principles, auditing methods, and tools such as Screaming Frog, Sistrix, or Semrush.
• Initial hands-on experience with AI-driven search functionalities, AI overviews, generative search engines, or tools that assist in optimizing content and technical structures for AI-enhanced search results.
• A curious and motivated approach to advancing in this forward-looking field.
• Experience with the structure, settings, and applications of a Shopify store, along with an understanding of metadata, product structures, and performance factors.
• Basic knowledge of theme customization is advantageous, although extensive development skills are not necessary.
• Proficient in utilizing GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console. Looker Studio experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS. Basic knowledge of JavaScript is beneficial for comprehension and coordination but not essential.
• A strong affinity for data and a methodical approach: You enjoy working with data, identifying patterns, and deriving clear technical actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
