This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the organic strategy for a diverse client portfolio by creating annual and quarterly roadmaps that consider both traditional SEO performance and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) visibility in AI-driven search landscapes.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, facilitating strategic discussions about organic growth, AI overviews, LLM-powered discovery tools, and the impact of changing search behaviors on brand visibility and competitive positioning.
• Perform comprehensive content gap analyses, competitive research, keyword strategy development, and SERP landscape evaluation, including assessing how client content appears in traditional search, AI-generated results, and other generative search experiences.
• Convert performance data from GA4, Adobe, and Search Console into clear, actionable insights, linking ranking changes, traffic patterns, SERP feature modifications, and generative visibility signals to client objectives.
• Enhance technical foundations such as site architecture, internal linking, and structured data to boost crawlability, entity clarity, and overall discoverability across both traditional search engines and generative platforms.
• Utilize tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and automation platforms (Zapier, APIs) to expedite research, synthesize insights, and support scalable SEO and GEO workflows.
• Experiment, refine, and document AI-driven workflows and GEO experiments that improve strategic thinking, reveal new opportunities, and inform Seer’s evolving strategy for modern organic visibility.
• Proven experience in creating and implementing SEO strategies across various industries, with the capability to adapt strategies as search evolves towards AI-generated summaries and generative search interfaces.
• Robust technical SEO knowledge, encompassing site architecture, structured data, indexing diagnostics, and performance analysis, along with an understanding of how these components affect both traditional rankings and generative visibility.
• Proficiency in linking SEO and GEO outcomes to business results and effectively communicating strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Comfort with AI and LLM tools beyond basic usage — employing them for data analysis, idea validation, research support, and workflow enhancement.
• Strong analytical skills across platforms such as GA4, Adobe, Search Console, and leading SEO tools, with an interest in emerging GEO measurement indicators like AI Overview presence, generative citations, and SERP volatility.
• A critical thinker who assesses AI-generated insights and GEO potentials within real business contexts rather than relying solely on automation.
• Excellent project management abilities and the capability to handle multiple clients, shifting priorities, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Annual salary range of $75,000-$100,000. Your final compensation will be based on your skills and experience.
