SEO Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the planning of SEO-focused content for small to medium-sized business (SMB) clients.

• Perform keyword research and analyze search intent.

• Aid in the creation of content plans, briefs, and outlines.

• Evaluate and enhance content according to SEO best practices.

• Publish and edit articles using WordPress and other content management systems (CMS).

• Set up on-page SEO components, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal links, and alt text.

• Research, edit, and appropriately incorporate images into the content.

• Review publications prior to delivery, ensuring both technical and visual quality.

• Assist in maintaining and updating previously published content.

• Update internal tracking documents and oversee deadlines and requests from various clients.

• Collaborate with SEO analysts to implement project strategies and workflows.

• Proactively communicate questions, risks, and potential delays.

⛳️ Requirements

• Some hands-on experience in SEO.

• Fundamental understanding of on-page SEO and keyword research.

• Experience in editing or publishing content on WordPress or another CMS.

• Excellent written communication skills and strong command of Portuguese.

• Familiarity with Google Docs and Google Sheets.

• Organizational abilities to manage multiple clients, requests, and deadlines effectively.

• Capability to adhere to processes, checklists, and SEO guidelines.

• Currently pursuing or has completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Development, or a related field.

• Preferred: prior experience in an agency or a multi-client environment.

• Preferred: experience in serving or producing content for SMBs.

• Preferred: knowledge of Semrush, Google Search Console, or GA4.

• Preferred: experience in creating content briefs and outlines.

• Preferred: basic understanding of HTML.

• Preferred: familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp.

• Preferred: basic knowledge of image optimization.

• Preferred: responsible use of AI tools for research, proofreading, and enhancing productivity.
