Organic Growth Lead, SEO, AEO Content

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee the quality and output of content for Jerry on jerry.ai as well as on external platforms.

• Create content designed to rank on Google and gain citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.

• Develop page structures that facilitate AI answer engines to highlight Jerry's responses.

• Monitor Jerry's visibility across search and answer engines, addressing any gaps identified.

• Manage the editorial process, including decisions on what to publish, where, and the rationale behind it.

• Establish the content roadmap and advocate for resource allocation amidst competing priorities.

• Design and implement a scalable system for drafting via AI, human editing, quality assurance, and publication.

• Create quality control measures and drift metrics to avert output degradation.

• Determine which tasks are to be handled by AI and which require human oversight.

• Set and uphold editorial standards for both writers and AI agents.

• Build the infrastructure for named authors, sourced claims, and transparent review processes.

• Lead a streamlined team consisting of one direct report, AI agents, and freelance contributors.

• Take ownership of organic traffic, AI citations, and customer acquisition goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Possess strong editorial judgment and the capability to write engaging and compelling content for both humans and LLMs.

• Have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge in the rapidly changing domains of SEO and AEO.

• Be a proficient user of LLMs, adept at utilizing them for drafting, research, synthesis, automation, and amplification.

• Capable of leading content quality and output across jerry.ai and other external platforms.

• Skilled in designing and managing an AI-native brief-to-publish content pipeline.

• Ability to enforce standards for sourcing, verification, named authorship, and transparent review processes for insurance and financing content.

• Must currently reside in one of the eligible locations: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada.
