This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Implement on-page and technical SEO strategies, encompassing keyword research, metadata optimization, internal linking, crawl/speed/mobile enhancements, and monthly reporting.
• Enhance content for AEO/GEO by utilizing answer-first formats, FAQ/Article/Organization schema, AI crawler access audits, and citation tracking.
• Create and publish landing pages in WordPress or a comparable CMS based on supplied briefs.
• Refine, format, and publish SEO blog posts derived from AI-assisted drafts.
• Maintain the shared tracker and promptly identify any issues.
• Follow client strategies and roadmaps, carry out tasks, report on progress and issues, apply feedback, and engage in proactive collaboration.
• Join regular check-ins, possibly on a weekly basis, to assess progress, review the roadmap, discuss completed work, address blockers, outline upcoming tasks, and seek guidance or clarification.
• Utilize WhatsApp, email, and Asana for effective communication and task/project management.
• Proven experience with WordPress build (or equivalent CMS) and fundamental knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Proficient in using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and an SEO tool (such as SE Ranking, Ahrefs, or SEMrush).
• Understanding of schema markup with the capability to implement it effectively.
• Strong written English skills.
• Eagerness to adhere to a documented brand style guide.
• Comfortable using AI tools (like ChatGPT/Claude), with a focus on fact-checking and refinement prior to publication.
• Experience with Elementor is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek assistance.
• Residing in a timezone that allows for several hours of overlap with UK working hours (09:00–17:00 GMT/BST).
• Availability for consistent communication and weekly meetings during mutually agreed-upon working hours.
• Proposal must include one example of a WordPress site built end-to-end, one instance of SEO optimization, and experience with schema markup implementation.
• Shortlisted candidates are required to complete a brief, paid test task prior to any ongoing commitment.
• Paid test task for candidates who are shortlisted.
• Continued engagement if the collaboration proves successful.
• Potential for an increase in workload from 10 hours per week to around 20–25 hours per week.
