Senior/Staff Software Engineer, PHP, TypeScript, Rust, Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Creating innovative features and optimizing solutions

• Taking full ownership and demonstrating a strong drive to complete projects

• Playing a key role in shaping the e-invoicing ecosystem

• Utilizing MySQL, TiDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, MinIO, Docker

• Extensive use of Claude Code

• Potential involvement in infrastructure and local Docker-based development setups

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in PHP, TypeScript, and Rust

• While comprehensive knowledge is not mandatory, a strong understanding of the current technology stack is essential

• Ability to work independently, with motivation and self-organization

• Experience with various programming languages

• Background in backend development (PHP + Symfony) and frontend development (TypeScript + React + TanStack)

• Experience in developing microservices using Rust and/or Java

• Skills in migrating PHP code to Rust, handling data migrations, and refactoring

• Proficient in error analysis and debugging

• Fluent in German with good command of English
