Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Back End Leaning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage with core enterprise platform systems.

• Contribute to distributed backend architectures and shared platform services.

• Ensure the secure operation of systems in a production environment.

• Take ownership of projects that span several months and involve multiple teams.

• Collaborate closely with product, security, legal, and infrastructure stakeholders.

• Convert business and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Assess work through system health and reliability metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a software engineer.

• Proven experience in building and managing backend systems at scale.

• Strong proficiency in backend development and system architecture.

• Relevant engineering experience with teams that develop enterprise-grade systems.

• Experience managing systems in a production setting.

• Capability to collaborate across teams and functions.

• Prior experience leading projects or mentoring fellow engineers.
