Senior/Principal JavaScript Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vietnam.

• Create and implement high-quality, secure, and scalable engineering solutions.

• Develop and manage systems capable of supporting large-scale advanced AI workloads.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to establish technical direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of full-stack engineering experience, including leading the delivery of complex systems.

• Proficient in English communication skills, with at least a C1 level.

• Proven track record in building and launching production-quality applications in SaaS, B2B, FinTech, or comparable environments.

• Practical experience in developing and integrating AI-powered features such as LLM-based automation, classification, document processing, or workflow enhancements.

• Familiarity with AI development and evaluation tools, including vector search, embeddings, prompt frameworks, or AI-assisted development tools.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Extensive experience with contemporary backend technologies, including Node.js; familiarity with NestJS is advantageous.

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.

• Significant experience with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL.

• Strong proficiency with MongoDB.

• Experience with ORMs such as TypeORM and Mongoose.

• Experience designing scalable architectures, APIs, and services with robust testing and observability practices.

• Good understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps fundamentals.

• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating closely with Product, Design, and QA teams.

• Proven history of mentoring engineers and enhancing engineering quality across teams.

• Experience in FinTech, especially in accounting or bookkeeping, is a plus.
