Senior/Master Mobile Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to create native Android, iOS, and Web applications for a diverse global clientele.

• Design, develop, and enhance native mobile applications, primarily focusing on Android/Kotlin while also being proficient in iOS/Objective-C.

• Implement analytics tracking for mobile applications utilizing tools such as Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, and Segment to improve user engagement and experience.

• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design thorough solutions, and ensure smooth integration across various platforms.

• Maintain and fine-tune CI/CD pipelines to guarantee swift and dependable software delivery.

• Establish and uphold best practices in software development with a strong focus on security, performance, scalability, and code quality.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within production mobile applications, including analyzing crash reports, investigating user-reported problems, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing fixes to ensure application stability and an excellent user experience.

• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and support teams to prioritize and address production incidents and customer-related issues.

• Mentor and support junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to foster innovation and enhance application capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant professional experience in mobile development, with a primary focus on Android/Kotlin and a solid understanding of iOS development using Objective-C.

• Proven track record of mobile applications successfully deployed to production and published on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

• Practical experience in supporting production environments, including crash analysis, user feedback investigation, troubleshooting real-world challenges, and delivering prompt resolutions.

• Familiarity with crash monitoring and performance tools such as Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Datadog, New Relic, or similar platforms.

• Experience with analytics implementation (tagging, custom events, event tracking).

• Comprehensive knowledge of mobile development frameworks, design patterns, architectural principles, and industry best practices.

• Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in mobile applications and distributed systems.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools to accelerate the learning, analysis, development, and testing of software projects.

• Advanced or fluent English language skills to enable effective communication with global teams.

• Demonstrated experience in working with multi-technology teams and managing intricate projects.

• Strong grasp of application performance optimization, mobile security, and user experience best practices.
