Senior/Lead ML Applied Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Construct machine learning models capable of handling millions of requests per second while ensuring optimal performance.

• Convert business needs into technical specifications.

• Create machine learning models that adhere to memory and computational limits, evaluate them accurately, and troubleshoot effectively.

• Offer technical guidance to fellow machine learning research engineers.

• Rapidly iterate with an emphasis on early and frequent deployment, guaranteeing that new products or features reach millions of users.

• Produce clearly structured, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Engage in code reviews and participate in architecture and design discussions. Stay informed about the latest technological advancements and evaluate their relevance.

• Contribute technical insights to the research roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in applied machine learning.

• Demonstrated experience with the complete modeling lifecycle: constructing, assessing, and debugging large machine learning models.

• Familiarity with large-scale categorical and structured datasets.

• Proficiency in real-time machine learning models, incremental learning, and online learning.

• Strong grasp of machine learning fundamentals: bias-variance tradeoffs, loss functions, evaluation metrics, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• A thoughtful, self-driven individual who confidently makes technical decisions autonomously.
