Research Fellow, Computational Chemistry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Utilize computational sciences to enhance drug development processes

• Advocate for the integration of computational sciences within drug discovery initiatives

• Collaborate with experts in chemistry and biology on the governance of scientific data

• Oversee the creation of analytical tools and the development of computational methodologies

• Work in conjunction with medicinal chemistry teams during lead optimization efforts

• Analyze, interpret, and present research findings

• Participate in objectives related to data governance

• Maintain adherence to Eurofins policies and standard practices

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in computational chemistry

• Demonstrated success in influencing drug discovery projects

• In-depth knowledge of medicinal chemistry concepts

• Experience with ligand-based design methodologies

• Understanding of free energy methods and their practical applications and limitations

• Skilled in managing and curating extensive chemical and biological datasets

• Familiarity with contemporary AI/ML techniques in drug discovery

• Capability to design, validate, and benchmark computational workflows

• Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams

• Knowledge of ADMET prediction tools
