This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead and implement Public Opinion and audience research initiatives.
• Develop analytical strategies that guide heimatwurzeln’s national strategy and campaigns.
• Assist teams in establishing clear research objectives, key questions, and methodological choices that yield actionable insights and meet their practical needs.
• Manage comprehensive research processes—from initial scoping and design to analysis and presentation of findings.
• Perform desk research, pinpointing relevant studies, polling data, and public datasets to create robust evidence bases.
• Construct questionnaires, sampling plans, and interview guides that are thorough and appropriate for their intended purpose.
• Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover insights that enhance audience comprehension.
• Transform complex data into clear, succinct insights with effective narrative structures.
• Produce structured reports and presentations that underscore implications for strategy and campaigning.
• Supervise multiple research workstreams, ensuring high-quality delivery at all stages.
• Translate broad research objectives into precise work plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with colleagues, advisors, and partners.
• Source and manage polling agencies and research suppliers: draft clear briefs, oversee implementation, and guarantee data quality and adherence to internal standards.
• Review outputs, providing analytical feedback and ensuring consistency across projects.
• 6–8+ years of experience in public opinion, political, social, or market research—preferably in positions with senior analytical responsibilities.
• Strong skills in designing quantitative and qualitative research, from sampling design to data analysis.
• Proficient in using data tools such as SPSS, R, or similar, with a high level of data literacy.
• Ability to critically assess datasets and analytical methods to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Expertise in synthesizing complex information and converting findings into clear, strategic insights.
• Experience in managing multiple research projects and coordinating with external suppliers.
• Exceptional communication skills—capable of articulating methods and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Genuine interest in politics, society, behavior, and environmental issues.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
