This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Work closely with the Creative Director, Lead Writer, and narrative teams.
• Create narrative components and features for our game, including crafting captivating dialogues, intriguing scenarios, and unforgettable characters.
• Uphold the overall writing style and tone throughout the gaming experience.
• Produce documentation that supports the game’s storyline in alignment with the project's vision.
• Guide and mentor a talented team of writers.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure consistency in story elements across narrative, gameplay mechanics, and visuals.
• Assess and refine narrative features to guarantee the highest quality standards.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Writer, ideally with a focus on RPG and story-driven games.
• Experience in AAA titles is a plus.
• Strong storytelling skills and a comprehensive understanding of interactive narrative design and dramatic structure.
• Outstanding writing abilities, including the capacity to develop engaging characters, immersive storylines, sharp dialogue, and dynamic screenplays.
• Familiarity with game design principles and an understanding of how narrative components integrate with gameplay mechanics.
• Capability to provide constructive feedback and support to writing team members.
• Ability to manage tasks autonomously while working collaboratively with the team.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for video games and a thorough understanding of various game genres and player expectations.
