Senior Workday Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Designing and developing tailored data solutions for clients utilizing a range of software and programming tools, including Definian’s Data Platform, SQL, Python, and more.

• Applying quantitative techniques to extract actionable insights, discern patterns, and determine outcomes from data.

• Taking full ownership of critical data requirements in a dynamic, collaborative work environment.

• Utilizing technical knowledge to offer guidance and direction to clients while addressing complex challenges.

• Identifying and converting client business needs into technical deliverables.

• Delivering technological solutions to clients across various sectors, including Manufacturing & Distribution, Education & Government, Consumer & Industrial Products, and Life Sciences & Healthcare.

• Collaborating with clients to comprehend their existing data landscape and advising on strategies to align with their desired future-state data landscape.

• Providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

• Note: The responsibilities of this role may expand to encompass additional tasks based on the company's needs and the candidate's skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a data or consulting role, particularly in Workday implementation projects is preferred.

• At least 1 year of prior experience working directly with structured data (analyzing, organizing, reporting, etc.).

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).

• Intermediate proficiency in a programming or scripting language.

• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.

• Intermediate knowledge of SQL.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail.
