This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Manages assigned cases independently within basic complexity limits.
• Recognizes, suggests, and implements suitable loss mitigation strategies by leveraging effective salvage, disposal, and recovery techniques with necessary supervisory guidance.
• Proactively broadens knowledge to encompass a comprehensive analysis of terms, clauses, and coverage to foster continuous improvement.
• Efficiently addresses and resolves external inquiries/disputes with an emphasis on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Regularly generates clear, concise, and grammatically sound reports that require minimal revisions, adhering to company and client specifications.
• Engages in peer review processes, offering constructive feedback and being receptive to suggestions.
• Creates precise invoices with a strong focus on time and expense estimates, as well as client intentions.
• Authorized to communicate with clients beyond standard case communications under supervision, demonstrating timely reliability.
• Actively seeks and completes relevant credentialing, such as Lloyds Agency Module 3: Cargo Claims & Recoveries credentialing, while committing to ongoing professional and personal growth.
• Identifies potentially valuable case studies from experience and collaborates with leadership to share these cases through guided contributions to presentations.
• May support business development initiatives as directed.
• Builds and sustains positive working relationships with colleagues across various departments, divisions, and locations.
• Upholds the confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information, exercising sound judgment and discretion regarding any disclosures related to EM, EIMC, and its initiatives.
• Complies with all relevant State Insurance Regulation requirements and other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in ocean marine claim adjusting or other insurance-related roles preferred.
• Prior experience with a cloud enterprise software solution preferred.
• Familiarity with the claims adjudication process.
• Strong research and investigative abilities.
• Proficient in analyzing, interpreting, and reporting relevant information (distinguishing essential from non-essential).
• Project management skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in various internal platforms.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Work is primarily conducted in a remote setting or in an indoor office environment.
