This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
⢠Collaborate with Payroll Operations, HR, and IT departments to set up, support, and enhance the Workday US Payroll module.
⢠Work alongside senior team members to identify and resolve payroll-related challenges, including integrations, data loads, and tax setups.
⢠Engage with stakeholders to collect requirements and convert business needs into efficient system configurations.
⢠Assist in managing end-to-end Payroll projectsāfrom initial discovery to testing and deploymentāwith support from cross-functional teams.
⢠Recognize opportunities for payroll automation, process enhancements, and configuration improvements.
⢠Aid in maintaining the Workday Time Tracking configuration to ensure smooth integration with payroll processing.
⢠Ensure that absence plans and benefit elections accurately interface with payroll calculations.
⢠Take part in testing and implementing configuration changes, as well as post-implementation enhancements and updates.
⢠Create and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and user documentation.
⢠Stay updated with Workday releases and contribute suggestions for leveraging new features and best practices.
⢠Utilize AI tools, prompt engineering, and other emerging technologies to explore solutions, expedite troubleshooting, and efficiently achieve optimal configurations.
⢠Workday Payroll certification or active pursuit of certification is required.
⢠Experience with additional Workday modules (such as Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Core HCM) is advantageous.
⢠Familiarity with payroll tax configuration, garnishments, or year-end processing (W-2s) is preferred.
⢠Experience in supporting multi-state US payroll is essential.
⢠2ā5 years of practical experience in configuring Workday, particularly with a focus on or strong knowledge of the US Payroll module.
⢠Understanding of Workday Time Tracking and its integration with payroll is beneficial.
⢠A Bachelorās degree in HR, Business, IT, or a relevant field is required.
⢠A collaborative mindsetāenjoy working with others, asking questions, and learning from cross-functional partners.
⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a developing ability to recognize interdependencies across modules.
⢠Comfort in using AI assistants, prompt-based tools, and other technologies to research, troubleshoot, and enhance efficiency.
⢠Ability to convey technical concepts in a business-friendly manner and build constructive relationships with stakeholders.
⢠A self-driven attitudeātaking initiative, seeking solutions, and being proactive in addressing issues.
⢠Capability to manage multiple priorities and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
