Senior Workday Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Clarify business requirements, align them with system capabilities, and propose technical solutions.

• Translate client requirements into technical language for the development team, while advising clients on resource needs, project scope, budgets, and timelines.

• Create use cases, customer scenarios, and/or demonstrations, and organize testing of newly developed or enhanced applications between business and development teams.

• Document modifications and develop troubleshooting guides.

• Manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Oversee projects of small to medium size and complexity.

• Convert user requests into application system solutions.

• Analyze user requirements to define and design system configurations, enhancements, and modifications.

• Address business challenges by collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g., system users, company management, consultants, software support staff).

• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to define and design intricate processes and procedures for configuring, upgrading, and maintaining SQL, Workday, DocuSign, ServiceNow, and related application systems.

• Remain informed on relevant industry standards, commercial practices, intellectual property, privacy laws, and other regulations to adapt commercial policies and processes, ensuring the provision of the most accurate and current guidance.

• Specify requirements for particular forms and reports.

• Develop test plans, execute test scenarios, validate test data, and document test outcomes.

• Coordinate end-user training documentation and conduct training sessions as necessary.

• Execute project management and conduct thorough analyses of business practices, processes, and scenarios.

• Utilize query and reporting tools to deliver timely and flexible information to system users, determining appropriate programming tools to provide this information.

• Fulfill the majority of project management functions for user groups, which include coordinating, organizing, planning and scheduling, communicating, tracking accountability, ensuring documentation, monitoring, evaluating, problem-solving, and providing technical assistance.

• May hold primary responsibility for the support and maintenance of HR applications or systems.

• Engage in the development and enforcement of IT software standards and procedures.

• Ensure the accuracy of the help desk database for reported issues and maintain the knowledge base of corrective actions taken to resolve problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 5 to 7 years of experience as an Analyst.

• Demonstrated experience with Software Systems.

• Strong understanding of payroll and benefit integrations, processes, and procedures in Workday.

• Hands-on experience with Workday Reports, Calculated Fields, EIB, Core Connector, and Workday Studio.

• Familiarity with the DocuSign application.

• Solid knowledge of SQL, XLST, or other data transformation methodologies.

• Strong understanding of API and other integration technologies.

• Experience with production support and project management.

• Proven project leadership skills, along with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to interact with all organizational levels and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
